Welcome to Testpoint Academy
TestPoint Academy was founded by a pharmacy technician who saw a need for a program for those who wanted to become pharmacy technicians, but didn’t want to or couldn’t commit 9 months to a traditional pharmacy technician training program. Few people know that an individual can apply for and receive a pharmacy technician license in California by sitting for and passing the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam! So, our academy was started in 2009 with the goal of spreading the word about this alternate method of getting a pharmacy technician license in the state of California.
Our instructors are Certified Pharmacy Technicians who are licensed in the state of California. Each instructor brings unique experiences to the classroom, including pharmacy technician and clerkship work experience in inpatient hospitals, retail settings, pharmacy technician teaching positions, and even pharmacy school.
Each of our student groups is formed with 5 or less students, allowing for plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor. Our students come to us from all over Southern California, including the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys, Los Angeles, Ventura County, and Riverside. Some students even come to us from other states to take advantage of what our unique program has to offer.
